THEMES THAT YOU LIKE

“I think that all of us dream of becoming a film actor at some point in our lives. Constantly playing different roles is what we spend all our time doing as children. A child’s natural progression into adulthood means that we all become detached from this role-playing and look towards other horizons. As for me, the desire to be a film actor never left me.”

Look what I got!

I’ll be the weeping willow drowning in my tears

You can go swimming when you’re here

And I’ll be the rainbow after the tears are gone

Wrap you in my colors and keep you warm

Lyrics from Otis Redding’s
“That’s How Strong My Love Is”

What’s your favourite movie? Tell me!

Christoph kneels next to the claw foot tub I currently inhabit. My hair is down; only the ends are swimming in the warm lavender water. Tears teeter on the rims of my eyes before making their escape and diving on to my cheeks. Christoph adjusts, his arms crossed resting on the porcelain edge. He looks at me deeply while placing his strong, scarred jaw on his arms. I turn my face to his gazing into his eyes I open my mouth slightly. A question I have wanted to ask; anxiously sits on my tongue, waiting for the perfect moment to release my most curious inquisition.

Breathlessly I ask…

“Will you still love me, when I’m no longer young and beautiful?”

His eyes fixate on me in a stern manner but subtly release into a look of understanding. He gently cups my face with his right hand, my face melts in to his warm touch, I close my eyes to release the tears held captive from my eyelashes. I open them once more. The buttons on his shirt tap the edge of the bathtub as he leans in. His lips meet mine with a kiss of pure, endearing… love. We separate.

His mouth opens slightly to respond.

“You know I will.”

Inspired by my never ending love for Christoph Waltz.

I urge you to listen to “Young and Beautiful,” by Lana Del Rey whilst reading this first attempt at fanfiction.
